After two weeks of football, the Ravens had not allowed a touchdown. They were flying high going into Cleveland, and faced the winless Browns. The crowd was loud during this football game, and almost saw a big upset.

The Ravens defense made life hell for Charlie Frye. Frye was sacked 7 times, but he also threw for 298 yards. That’s a big accomplishment against the Ravens defense. The Ravens scored first on a Matt Stover field goal. Stover plays well against his former team.

Earlier in the week, Kellen Winslow said the Browns need to get him more involved, and it looked like the coaches listened, because Kellen had a good game. I know he opens his mouth a lot, but so far this football season, he has been a bright spot for the Browns. The Browns did open the offense in this football game when Charlie Frye threw a bomb to Braylon Edwards for a 58 yard touchdown. This was the first touchdown the Ravens allowed all season. The Browns poured it on at the end of the first half when Charlie Frye made some big plays, and scored on a one yard touchdown run. The Browns went into halftime up 14-3.

The Ravens defense clamped down in the second half, but their offense still had some issues. Derrick Mason had a huge game with 132 receiving yards, but they struggled to score points. The Ravens had a big fourth and one, but were stuffed. The Browns were on the verge of a big victory.

In the fourth quarter the Ravens scored on a Steve McNair touchdown pass to Todd Heap. They missed the two point conversion. The Ravens got the football back, and Matt Stover kicked another field goal. The Browns offense needed to respond. They did, with a long 7 minute drive. Charlie Frye hit Kellen Winslow and they the football on the 4 yard line. Two plays later, Charlie Frye made his first mistake of the football game by throwing an interception. This was the turning point of the football game. The Ravens drove down the football field, and Matt Stover hit a 52 yard field goal for the win. The Ravens win 15-14. The Browns need to learn how to seal the deal.
