The Cardinals going into this football game didn’t know what direction to go in. First it was reported Matt Leinart would start, but then the Cardinals said Kurt Warner would start. Kurt has had a bad season, and last week was the icing on the cake. Kurt Warner knew his job was on the line, so he had to play well. He did not.

The Falcons kicking woes were not a a problem in this football game. Their red zone offense was in the first half though. Four field goals? You have to be able to get the football in the end zone. Kurt Warner played like the human turnover in this football game, with 2 fumbles and an interception. Yikes, it was no surprise that Matt Leinart got to play in the fourth quarter.

The only highlight for the Cardinals came in the second quarter when the Falcons were driving. Michael Vick threw a terrible pass that was intercepted by Adrian Wilson at the 1 yard line. Wilson ran it back 99 yards. At this point in the football game, the Cardinals actually had the lead. A Falcons field goal gave the Falcons a 12-10 lead at halftime.

In the second half, Kurt Warner’s interception proved to be a back breaker. Warner’s pass was tipped and intercepted by DeAngelo Hall who ran it back for a touchdown. Jerious Norwood had a 78 yard touchdown run. This football game got hard to watch. Michael Vick had 101 rushing yards, and Norwood had 106 rushing yards. When you give up two 100 yard runners, you aren’t going to win many football games. The Falcons win 32-10.
