Christmas Eve football, with a game of Christmas colors. Well that’s one of the only good things I can say about this football game. Josh McCown will start the final two games of the season, which makes me wonder why didn’t they start him all season long. They would have had some more wins this football season. The Eagles on the other hand, are banged up, hurt, and wishing for next year. They look awful with the players they have now.

The Eagles had a 4th down and 1 early, and took a gamble , and lost. Arizona drove down the football field into their money range. Neil Rackers field goal range. Josh McCown was throwing the football all over the place, which lead to another Rackers field goal. If only the Cardinals could score touchdowns in the red zone, maybe they’d be pretty good.

Arizona poured some salt in the Eagles wounds, as they intercepted Mike McMahon and scored a TD. This is Arizona football right here. Ah, it didn’t last long, as Mike McMahon got angry over his mistake, and drove the football downfield, setting up his one yard touchdown run. Even I could do that. Cardinals 13-7 at the half.

Josh McCown continued to air the football out, and got 2 touchdowns in the second half, to pretty much put the football game out of reach. The Eagles scored twice in the 4th quarter to make the football game look a lot closer than it really was. Cardinals win 27-21. Maybe next year guys.
