I have to give myself a pat on the back after last week. I don’t remember having a week where like that. Only one loss, and if the Bears didn’t have a great second half, I would have been unbeaten. Well, one loss is something to be happy about. Injuries are starting to pile up, and teams are scrambling for backups and potential starters. Also, the three winless teams are mad, and looking for a win. Could be a tough week to figure out.

Philadelphia Eagles vs New York Jets
The Eagles needed their bye week badly. After that performance against the Giants, they needed to retool. Andy Reid is good after bye weeks, and the Jets have quarterback questions.
Winner: Philadelphia Eagles
Miami Dolphins vs Cleveland Browns
Miami almost won last week, but Kris Brown had a career day with three 50 yard field goals. Trent Green might be out for the season after that concussion last week, which might not be bad for Miami’s gameplan. Ronnie Brown should have a good day, but I’ll go with the Browns at home.
Winner: Cleveland Browns
St Louis Rams vs Baltimore Ravens
The Ravens offense has been bad, but their defense should be able to stop the Rams. The Rams have to wishing that this season would end. Maybe Baltimore will be able to put up 20 points against the Rams.
Winner: Baltimore Ravens
Cincinnati Bengals vs Kansas City Chiefs
The Bengals defense hasn’t been able to stop anyone, so expect Larry Johnson to finally have a good game. Still, the Chiefs defense isn’t very good, and the Bengals offense has been able to put up points.
Winner: Cincinnati Bengals
Minnesota Vikings vs Chicago Bears
The Bears win last week might have saved their season. The Vikings defense is tough, so I expect Devin Hester to be the difference in this football game.
Winner: Chicago Bears
Tennessee Titans vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers
I know the Bucs might not be at full strength, but I like their chances at home against the Titans. The Titans defense has played well, but if Jeff Garcia can avoid sacks, he has Joey Galloway to throw to. The Bucs and Panthers are going to limp to the finish line in the NFC South.
Winner: Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Washington Redskins vs Green Bay Packers
This is an interesting match-up. The Redskins crushed the Lions last week, but winning in Lambeau is tough. The Packers could have been 5-0, but the Bears played a great second half, and you have to figure the Packers are angry.
Winner: Green Bay Packers
Houston Texans vs Jacksonville Jaguars
The Texans have had the Jags number the last few years. The Jags offense might be bland, but they have been able to win on the road, at home, they haven’t played as well. I still think Houston can make the playoffs, and they need to win these games against division rivals.
Winner: Houston Texans
Carolina Panthers vs Arizona Cardinals
Jake Delhomme is out for the year, and David Carr is questionable for this game. The Panthers have quarterback problems. They might have to start Vinny Testaverde. Yeah, things are that bad for the Panthers.
Winner: Arizona Cardinals
Oakland Raiders vs San Diego Chargers
The Raiders are in first place in the AFC West. San Diego had their way with the Broncos last week, and while I like what the Raiders are doing, it’s tough to win on the road. San Diego might have saved their season against the Broncos, and look for it to continue against the Raiders.
Winner: San Diego Chargers
New England Patriots vs Dallas Cowboys
This is the biggest game of the 2007 season so far. Two 5-0 teams, doesn’t get much more high profile than that. The way Dallas played Monday makes me question their ablities to play against a good defense like the Pats. The Pats haven’t had a tough game, and I expect much of the same against the Cowboys.
Winner: New England Patriots
New Orleans Saints vs Seattle Seahawks
The Seahawks got their ass handed to them last week, and they are looking to take out their anger on the Saints. The Saints came so close last week, but they were at home. A struggling team on the road, this might get ugly.
Winner: Seattle Seahawks
New York Giants vs Atlanta Falcons
I’m guessing that ESPN is wondering, what did we do to deserve this game? The Falcons have a lot of question marks at quarterback, and the Giants are rolling. This could be like last week’s Monday Night Football game, but I’m going to say the Giants should be able to hang out and beat the Falcons.
