There has been some surprises this football season. The Saints 0-3, the Packers 3-0. I think the biggest surprise has been how well I’ve been picking games. Last week was a very good week for me. With 8 division games in Week 4, things sort be interesting. As we saw last week, teams can come back to Earth, will that happen again in Week 4?

Green Bay Packers vs Minnesota Vikings
Brett Favre needs one touchdown to set the all time touchdown record. With the Packers poor running game, and the Vikings great run defense, expect Brett to throw a lot. He use to struggle in the Metrodome, but the Packers want a 4-0 start.
Winner: Green Bay Packers

Baltimore Ravens vs Cleveland Browns
The Ravens are going to stick with Kyle Boller coming out of the bullpen. It’s an odd move, but it’s worked so far. The Ravens defense hasn’t been looking good the last two weeks. The Cardinals were able to throw all over them. I’m going to go with an upset here.
Winner: Cleveland Browns

Chicago Bears vs Detroit Lions
The Lions fell back to Earth against the Eagles. While I don’t expect Brian Griese to put up 56 points, the Bears offense needs him to not turn the football over. The Lions defense has a lot of problems, and the Bears need a win.
Winner: Chicago Bears

St Louis Rams vs Dallas Cowboys
Tony Romo has played well the first three games, and I think he’ll play well against the Rams. The Rams are a mess right now. The Cowboys should have an easy time against the Rams.
Winner: Dallas Cowboys

Oakland Raiders vs Miami Dolphins
The Dolphins need a win bad. The Raiders got their first win last week, but they always struggle against the Dolphins defense. Daunte Culpepper will start against his former team. I think the Dolphins defense will make things hard for Culpepper.
Winner: Miami Dolphins

New York Jets vs Buffalo Bills
The Jets got their first win last week, and if they want to stay within shouting distance of the Pats, they need to win this football game. The Bills have had a lot of injuries, and Trent Edwards will start. Things are not looking good for the Bills.
Winner: New York Jets

Houston Texans vs Atlanta Falcons
The Texans played the Colts tough last week, and now are looking up in the standings. They need to keep pace with the Colts. Andre Johnson should be back, and ready for a big game.
Winner: Houston Texans

Seattle Seahawk vs San Francisco 49ers
The 49ers came back to Earth against the Steelers last week, but this is an important division game for them. If they want to be a force in the NFC West, they need to beat the Seahawks. I have not been impressed by Seattle so far this season.
Winner: San Francisco 49ers

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Carolina Panthers
Carolina hasn’t been impressive either this season. There is a good chance David Carr will start for the Panthers. Jeff Garcia has the Bucs fans believing again, and their defense should make David Carr make mistakes.
Winner: Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Denver Broncos vs Indianapolis Colts
The Colts have had the Broncos number the last few years, and Peyton Manning is looking for a big game. Like last year, the Colts offense hasn’t looked great early, but Manning should be able to throw against the Broncos

Kansas City Chiefs vs San Diego Chargers
Not all is well with the Chargers. They are 1-2, and their offense isn’t the same force it was last year. The Chiefs offense has a lot of problems, so expect the Chargers to get a win.

Pittsburgh Steelers vs Arizona Cardinals
The Cardinals are going to try the alternating quarterback approach. I haven’t seen this done in a long time. The Cardinals will not have Anquan Boldin, and that’s a big loss. He is Kurt Warner’s favorite target. The Steelers defense should be able to get pressure on Warner and Matt Leinart.
Winner: Pittsburgh Steelers

Philadelphia Eagles vs New York Giants
Both teams got big wins last win. This is a very important game because the loser could be 3 games out of first place. Neither defense has been impressive, so expect some fireworks. I like the Giants at home.
Winner: New York Giants

New England Patriots vs Cincinnati Bengals
The Bengals are back on Monday Night Football, but they have to face the best team in the NFL. I think the Bengals will keep it close, but the Patriots just have too many weapons for the Bengals defense.
Winner: New England Patriots
