Well, we are left with the final four. In the NFC, it’s the surprising Saints vs the Chicago Bears. The Saints have been the feel good story of the year, but have to win in Chicago if they want to advance to their first Super Bowl. In the AFC, things are more familiar. The Colts and Patriots have been down this road, only this time it is in the RCA Dome.

New England Patriots vs Indianapolis Colts
It’s kind of weird seeing an AFC Championship with the 3rd and the 4th seed. But, the Colts and Pats got rid of the pretenders. For the Colts, this has been an odd ride. They were sort of under the radar going into the playoffs. Without that pressure, the Colts defense has stepped up while Peyton is still trying to find some rhythm. Tom Brady struggled last week for 3 quarters, but pulled it together when he had to against the Colts. One thing going for the Colts, it’s in the dome. That, and they have Adam Vinatieri.
Winner: Indianapolis Colts
New Orleans Saints vs Chicago Bears
The Bears had to go to overtime to beat the Seahawks. The Saints had their hands full with the Eagles last week. Rex Grossman played the best he’s played in months, which is a good sign for the Bears. I think the Saints offense can move the football against the Bears’ defense. The Bears defense hasn’t been too impressive lately. This is the wrong time of year for a defense to become leaky.
Winner: New Orleans Saints
